Fort Collins, CO – Canyon Concert Ballet is proud to unveil its highly anticipated 2025-2026 season, Masterpieces, a dynamic and inspiring lineup of performances showcasing timeless classics, bold reimaginings, and groundbreaking new works. With a diverse range of productions featuring emerging choreographers, world premieres, and collaborations with the Fort Collins Symphony, Masterpieces promises to be an unforgettable season of artistic excellence.
Artistic Director Michael Pappalardo, now in his fourth season leading the company, shares his excitement: “This season is a true celebration of ballet as both an evolving art form and a cherished tradition. 2025-2026 Season Lineup:
Dracula – October 2025
In a spellbinding collaboration with the Fort Collins Symphony, Dracula returns to the stage, bringing gothic romance and breathtaking movement to life in this hauntingly beautiful ballet.
The Nutcracker – December 2025
A cherished holiday tradition, The Nutcracker once again dazzles audiences with live accompaniment by the Fort Collins Symphony. This year, the magic extends beyond Fort Collins, with additional performances in Cheyenne and Steamboat Springs.
Nutcracker Sweets – December 2025
A charming, family-friendly version of The Nutcracker designed for young audiences, presented in Loveland to spread holiday cheer to new communities.
Swan Lake (Reimagined) – January 2026
A bold and visionary reimagining of the classic Swan Lake, offering a fresh perspective on the timeless tale of love and transformation. This production will captivate audiences with new interpretations while honoring the ballet’s deep traditions.
Innovation: An American Celebration – March 2026
A tribute to American creativity and ingenuity, Innovation features a curated collection of works from some of the nation’s most exciting emerging choreographers. This performance honors the evolving landscape of ballet in America.
Ballet & Beer – May 2026
A vibrant showcase of emerging local choreographers, Ballet & Beer is a one-night-only event where audiences can experience fresh, innovative choreography in an intimate and relaxed setting.
Alice in Wonderland – Summer 2026
A brand-new, full-length Alice in Wonderland featuring an original score and performed alongside the Fort Collins Symphony. This enchanting production brings Lewis Carroll’s whimsical world to life with breathtaking choreography and stunning visuals.
