EMILY BEARD
Apprentice II
Emily is a junior at Fossil Ridge High School and is in her 14th year of
dance. She has enjoyed just about every second of it and looks forward to continuing in dance for as long as she possibly can!
Her favorite performance include "The Nutcracker", "Across the Tracks", and the CoDance Convention and Competition. Emily would like to thank her dance teachers for helping her every day in class, her awesome dance family, and her own amazing family.

FELICIA CAMPBELL
Senior Company
(Houston, Texas) Felicia began her dance training at the
age of 4 in Houston, Texas at The Houston Repertoire Ballet (Studio of
Dance) under the direction of Margo Marshall-Gilbert Rome. She
moved to Fort Collins in the fall of 2002 and started dancing with CCB
in Jan of 2003. She currently attends Fossil Ridge H.S. This past
summer she had the opportunity to attend the Adv Intensives at both
Ballet West and BYU. She enjoys all forms of dance.
Performance highlights include several productions of "The Nutcracker" also "Cinderella", "The Wizard of Oz", "Snow White", "Across the Tracks", and "Peter Pan". She would like to thank her family for their support over the years and also her Instructors, Melissa Corr, for being her mentor and friend, Jessica, and David Taylor.

LAUREL
BRUBACHER
Senior Company
(Memphis, Tennessee) Laurel has been dancing since the age of three and has been a student at CCB since 1991. In 2000 she attended the World Masters at Vail Summer Intensive. She has danced numerous roles in “The Nutcracker” including the roles of Spanish, Arabian, Candy Cane, and Dew Drop Fairy. She also appeared as a soloist in CCB's “Paquita”, “Cinderella”, “Snow White”, and as a Big Swan in “Swan Lake”.

THERESA CORDOVA
Senior Company
(Fort Collins, Colorado) Theresa Cordova has been perfoming with CCB for ten seasons. She has been a valued member of the CCDC faculty since 2001. Theresa graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota with a double BA in modern dance and French.
Over the past few years she has had the opportunity to perform and choreograph for multiple regional groups in ballet, jazz, modern dance, and musical theater.

KENDRA DAVIS
Senior Company
(Fort Collins, Colorado) Kendra has been dancing since the age of three and has always loved it. She is a sophomore at Fossil Ridge High School and has danced at CCB since she was 6. In addition to ballet, Kendra loves jazz and lyrical. Among her favorite productions are The Nutcracker, The Wizard of Oz and Across the Tracks. Kendra would like to thank all of her teachers for helping her get to where she is today and her parents and brother for all their support.

SIDNEY DUNGAN
Apprentice II
(Fort Collins, Colorado) Sidney Dungan is a Poudre High School IB sophomore and is very involved with Impalaphonics and musical theater there. She has been dancing at CCB since she was three and has performed in nine “Nutcrackers”; loving every role from Page
to Chinese Tea. Sidney has had roles in Across the Tracks, The Nutcracker, Peter Pan and many others.

SYDNEY ELLIOTT
Apprentice I
(Edwards, Colorado) Sydney has been dancing since the age of four
and has kept her feet busy for twelve years. She is a sophomore at Poudre High School and is a part of the International Baccalaureate Program there. Her training includes studying at Canyon Concert Ballet and Dance Center, Westin Arts Academy, and the Orlando Ballet School’s Summer Intensive. She has had the great honor of studying under Melissa Corr, Jessica Freestone, David Taylor, Peter Stark, Julie Kent, and many other phenomenal instructors. This will be her fourth year participating in the CCB’s Production of The Nutcracker and she is very excited to be doing what she loves. She would like to give out a huge thanks to her supportive family and friends for encouraging her to reach for her dream.

CONNER HORAK
Senior Company
(Fort Collins, Colorado) Conner Horak was born in Fort Collins and is a junior at Fossil Ridge High School. He was first introduced to the stage at the age of 6 in a small local musical theatre/ dance company. While in elementary school, he performed in several local musicals including “Tom Sawyer”, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, “Bye Bye Birdie”, and “High School Musical”. By the age of 12, Conner earned his black belt in Karate He soon realized he wanted to focus his efforts professionally. In his short time at CCB, he has had the privilege of performing such roles as the Nutcracker Prince and one of a lead gang members in Jessica Freestone's “Across the Tracks”. Connor has been fortunate to study under Melissa Corr, David Taylor, and Jessica Freestone. His favorite dance styles are ballet and jazz but he is always open to anything new. He is very excited to begin his teaching career at CCB and CCDC.

LIZ STORY JACKSON

(Baltimore, Maryland) Liz received her initial training at Damascus Dance Centre, where she danced until she was sixteen. After an eight-year hiatus, she returned to ballet through CSU and CCB in 2001. In the past nine years, Liz has appeared in The Nutcracker, Across the Tracks and many others.

MEGHAN LARSON
Apprentice I
Meghan
discovered her love of dance in her home state of Minnesota at
the age of 14. After relocating to South Texas she was trained by such distinguished teachers as Randall Newsom-Northern Illinois University, Lazaro Carreno-Houston ballet, Richard d’Alton-Orlando Ballet and Anthony Noa-Berlin Ballet. Ms. Larson has had the pleasure performing such roles as Princess Florine, Satanella and the Snow Queen. She competed in the Youth American Grand Prix New York City finals and was accepted to Charleston Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive on scholarship where she stayed on as a company trainee. Meghan has experience teaching all levels of ballet and jazz. This past year she taught at Dancentre of Edinburg for their creative movement and open ballet classes. She is thrilled to be starting her first year at Canyon Concert Ballet/Canyon Concert Dance Center.

RACHAEL MARLAN
Senior Company
(Fort Collins, Colorado) A native of Fort Collins, Rachel studied dance at CCB (or should it be CCDC?). She attended the Vail International Summer Dance Festival where she worked with teachers from the Bolshoi Ballet and Paris Opera Ballet. Rachel also attended the University of South Carolina Summer Conservatory, Snowy Range Dance Festival, and was an R.A. for the Kansas City Ballet Summer School.
Rachel continued her training with a dance scholarship at the University of Northern Colorado where she earned a B.A. in Dance with an emphasis in dance science and dance education. While she was there, she was awarded Departmental Scholar for three years and made the National Dean’s List.
Upon graduation she accepted a position with the Manassas Ballet Theatre, where she
performed professionally for three years. While there she focused on the Vagonova
syllabus under Russian ballet masters/mistresses. Rachel also taught at various studios in
the D.C. area.

ERICA
MUGOYE
Senior Company
(Loveland, Colorado) Erica has danced with CCB for eighteen years. In her ten years as a Company member, Erica has performed in more than 30 CCB productions, including Peter Pan, Across the Tracks, The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. She is in her ninth year of teaching at CCDC.

MIKENZIE NASH
Senior Company
Mickenzie started dancing at the age of six with Westin Arts
Academy. When she was 13 she started commuting to Denver two to five
times a week, to get more training. In Denver she started training at
Starstruck Dance Academy and moved to Michelle Latimer Dance
Academy for her last three years. She danced competitively for seven
years and has been involved in many different performances including; a
lead roll in the Carousel Dinner Theatre’s production of "Sound of Music", musical theater productions within her schools, Mrs. Colorado Pageant, Children’s Hospital Benefit, "The Nutcracker", and recitals and competitive performances every year.
She was a dancer in a TV pilot, called "Cabby Tree", a show for toddlers. Also, she was a background dancer in "Disney’s High School Musical II". For 8 months in 2010, she lived and danced in "One Man’s Dream II", in Tokyo Disneyland.
She has had the privilege of working with and taking advanced workshops from many
choreographers such as Jason Parsons, Brian Friedman, Dee Caspary, Marty Kudelka, Travis Wall, Malaya, Mandy Moore, Ray Leeper, and more. She is excited to keep training and performing as a dancer and teaching at the same time. Canyon has given her the opportunity to choreograph, teach jazz and lyrical classes, while being involved in the
company. This will be her second Nutcracker with Canyon.

ALLISON RUNYAN
Chamber Member
(Fort Collins, Colorado) Allison has been dancing for 19 years. She has danced in “The Nutcracker” as Clara and the Dew Drop Fairy, as well as many other roles. In 2003 she earned her BA in Art History, and has since danced locally in productions for Dance Connection, Dance Theater of Loveland, and Front Range Musical Theater. In addition to dance, Allison enjoys singing.

CAITLIN SHEPERD
Senior Company
Caitlin joined CCB in 2010, after a seven tear hiatus from performing. Prior to college, she studied at the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts and graduated from their professional ballet program. She also spent summers training at the American Academy of Ballet, Kirov Academy and Charleston Ballet Theatre. Caitlin continued dancing for a few years at Skidmore College in NY before deciding to focus on a career in psychology. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at CSU and is
extremely grateful for the opportunity to be dancing again.

CLAIRE SNYDER
Senior Company
(Durango, Colorado) Claire hails from Durango, Colorado where she began her training under the instruction of Shannon Mitchell-Hyatt, and Lisa Bodwalk. While there, she worked with renowned choreographers Nancy Cranborn, Brian Fisher and Robert Moses. She spent summers training at Ballet West Summer Academy, Atlanta Ballet, and Ballet
Austin. After graduating a year early, she went on to train year-round at Ballet West Academy in Salt Lake City. Prior to joining CCB, Claire danced as an apprentice with St. Louis Ballet in various roles in “The Nutcracker”, “Serenade”, “Giselle”, “Sleeping Beauty”,and Gen Horiuchi's “More Morra”, along with other original works.

BRENDA VAN FOSSEN-MOORE
Apprentice I
Brenda started dancing at the age of 3 in Tahoe City, Ca, and has always wanted to be a dancer. She performed many leading roles as a youth in both dance & theatre and went on to be a celebrated choreographer in college. Her original pieces combine contemporary ballet with African & traditional Haitian styles and have received rave reviews at American
College Dance Festivals. Brenda is living her dream here at CCB and feels blessed to be a part of it. She would like to thank her Mom for sewing costumes & taking her to class all those years, her Husband & Sister for their support and inspiration,
and Jessica, Melisa, and David for their dedication to their students.
